“MY DUTY IS TO PROTECT YOUR FAMILY INSTEAD PROFITING FROM YOUR ISSUES”

MIRKO MAKCUADO

Family Law
Mirko shows a singular empathy with clients, who in most cases are overwhelmed with family problems that overwhelm them, which directly affect their home, but thanks to his experience they are sorted out as time pass.

Addressing family issues should be harmonious, but this is rarely the case since rationality is largely absent in family issues.  Issues of vital importance such as visitation, child custody and alimony, require not only analysis capacity, but also a high level of empathy allowing the parties to reach an agreement for the benefit of the children.

Complicity plays a very important role when putting together a strategy for a client, who perceives in Mirko not only a representative, but the best ally for the defence and respect of their rights, as well as the children and women involved in the family dispute.

Human sense in family cases is a virtue that few lawyers have.  Mirko, beyond offering a service contemplates the human side of these people and makes their concerns and needs his own.

Mirko is convinced that unity and preservation of the family even when parents are separated is vital not only for the children involved, but for the society.  In times when society exhibits an accelerated rhythm of loss of values, protecting all the rights involved in family problems is the only way to stop this deterioration.

INTERVIEW

Nowadays our society is being highly violated, few care to defend this vital nucleus. Mirko, what prompted you to specialise in Family Law?

My determination was based on my eagerness to protect the core of society, which is the family and to fight against the prevailing atmosphere that the separation of families brings with it, an appetite for profit from those involved.  I believe that the duty to assist them is also part of my effort to curb the appetite.

Protect and not profit, strong words, why is the human side of customers so important to you?

Because people involved in a family conflict, even if they do not admit it, require protection.  And not only legal, but emotional and psychological.  This protection must be shared among various disciplines, working hand in hand with the client.

Mirko, what do you think makes you different from other specialists in Family Law?

The difference is in the degree of identification that I have with clients, in the personalised treatment that I offer them and that they perceive that they have an ally in the search to solve problems that, although it is difficult to admit, always requires a mediator.

That is why, for me, a true family specialist is one who strives to resolve his client’s conflict without actually prosecuting him.
